Some Days are Bad

Fortunately or unfortunately the SCV still not activated our STB service. So, i couldn't see any English movies (which is my favourite past time) this month. My exams are nearing and so as a good girl i shouldn't have bothered with it and should have concentrated on my studies. But alas, what had i done. I saw three movies, that are totally banal, a clinker of a show. $#!^ movies. Bad books, bad movies and bad music can really hurt. I hope most of u could understand this.

First is Day and Knight. Forget about Diaz, i am not her fan. But its really pity to see Tom cruise in such movie. OMG. He is not even good looking, bad performance, no chemistry at all with Diaz. I never had an idea that Hollywood can make such abysmal movies.

Second is Salt. What happened to Hollywood and its stars. They got bored of giving best, or what? I can never take my eyes (or mind for that matter) off from a book or movie once i started it. But i put considerable effect to see it fully. There is something terribly wrong happening there(in Hollywood). They got fancy ideas from our own Kollywood, that star value can sell anything. I hope they learn it quickly that its not so.

There should be a compelling storyline however short it may be. Stars, technicians and Spl fx can only complement it and alone(without a good story/story teller) they cannot create a magic.

The last but not least our own Endhiran. There is a total lack of characterization from the lead pairs to every character on the screen. Again no chemistry between lead pairs. (I Still wonder y aishwarya rejects robot, he is far better than the scientist). Rajini is not at all fit for the scientist role. He is ok in the robot role. The movie is more seeable if rajni done the robot role alone. Shankar has lost his creativity. There is nothing in there to praise him.

May be its God's way of punishing the wayward girls who waste their precious little time on movies when there is an exam. Otherwise why Tom cruise, Angelina Jolie and Shankar do such movies.
